Course styles

At Savage Performing Arts Academy we give you two options to teacher train with us.

Ofqual recognised level 3 & 4 teaching qualification

Train with a Senior IDTA Examiner
Advance your teaching career with our comprehensive Level 3 & Level 4 IDTA Teacher Training, delivered by a qualified IDTA examiner with expertise across theatre, freestyle, ballet, and tap.
Our programme offers:
Weekly training in each chosen genre (with essential independent study at home)
Expert guidance on planning and structuring effective lessons
Practical class training to build confident, hands-on teaching skills
In-depth syllabus knowledge, including progression, technique, and common student challenges
Coaching in safe dance practice, posture, and anatomical alignment
Choreographic development, including creating and analysing routines and musical choices
Comprehensive support for exam preparation and classroom delivery
Entry Requirements:
Level 3: Minimum age 16
Level 4: Minimum age 18 (students may train earlier but must be 18 to sit the exam)
Please note: Level 4 includes three separate units taken in sequence, with required spacing between each exam.
Train with an industry professional, deepen your technical understanding, and build the skills needed to inspire the next generation of dancers.

PERFORMANCE PERFORMER PREPARATION

Our Professional Performer Preparation training is designed to open up multiple career routes in the performing arts, so your young adult isn’t relying on one “big break” to have a future in the industry.
